Are wedding bells on the horizon for Jennifer Hudson and Common?
The rapper, 52, chatted with his EGOT-winning partner about marriage while guesting on Thursday's episode of her talk show. In July, he made headlines after teasing that if he were going to get married, it would be to her.
"I heard you've been even out there talking about marriage," Hudson asked Common. "What's that about? I mean, I just happened to notice that!"
Common responded by quoting Hudson's mother that "a man knows what he wants," and he told the "Dreamgirls" star he was expressing his "true feelings" when he said that "if I should be married, it would be to Jennifer Kate Hudson. I was just being honest!" He subsequently turned the tables by asking Hudson where she stands on this.
"I support that idea," Hudson told him. "I think it's a beautiful idea!" But before the audience could get too excited, she cautioned that this would be in "due time," if it "ever gets to that place."

The rapper also presented Hudson with gifts during their interview, including jewelry and a blanket with the title of her upcoming holiday album, "The Gift of Love." According to Hudson, Common helped her name the album.
Hudson later gushed about Common, calling him a "very special man" who "radiates positivity and embodies it in everything that he does," and presented him with a "joyful spirit award." After handing Common the award, the two shared a kiss, prompting cheers in the studio.
"When you hear his name, Common, you think of a storyteller, a poet, an artist who speaks truth to power," she said. "But when I think of this man, Rashid, I think of your heart, your faith, and what I love most about him: He is a praying man. He is a man of his word. He is like nobody I have ever seen in my life. Talk about choosing joy. You are joy. You are my joy, and you are light."
Following months of rumors that they were an item, Common appeared on Hudson's daytime talk show in January, where she playfully asked him, "Are you dating anyone?" He not-so-subtly confirmed he and Hudson were together by telling viewers that his girlfriend has an EGOT, won "an Oscar on her first movie," and has "her own talk show."

"I'm in a relationship (with) one of the most beautiful people I've ever met in life," he said, adding, "This relationship is a happy place for me."
Hudson said at the time she was "dating as well" and is "very happy." Speaking about the relationship briefly with People magazine in June, she shared, "Everything is wonderful. That's all you need to know."
