Christina Haack and Josh Hall’s divorce has taken a new turn.
The Flip or Flop alum accused her estranged husband of seeking an “outrageous” sum in spousal support, slamming the realtor for the alleged request.
“Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage,” according to her court documents obtained by People, “which is outrageous when he is self-supporting.”
In the docs, Christina—who shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa as well as son Hudson, 5, with ex-husband Ant Anstead—also claimed her ex recently spent $70,000 to pay off the lease on a Bentley, arguing that he therefore “has no need for spousal support.”
However, Josh refuted the claim on social media, taking aim at Christina’s lawyer Matthew S. DeArmey and alleging the legal filing was “riddled with lies and assumptions.”
“Interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity,” Josh wrote in an Instagram Story post Oct. 16. “Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical.”
In a statement to E! News, his attorney Sara Yunus called Christina’s filing “a complete distortion of the truth,” saying she and her lawyer “entirely misrepresented terms of a confidential settlement offer.”
“In reality, Josh offered to waive spousal support as part of a global settlement, which Christina rejected,” the statement said. “Christina twisted his offer to make it appear as though it’s Josh who is being unreasonable.”
She concluded, “Josh will not put up with Christina’s continued bullying of him through the court of public opinion, particularly when she spreads lies.”
Christina’s rep and lawyer declined E! News’ request for comment on the filing and have not responded to requests for comment on Josh’s statement.
The former couple both filed for divorce in July after nearly three years of marriage. In separate court filings obtained by E! News at the time, Josh did request spousal support—though an exact amount was not listed—while Christina asked that neither party be awarded spousal support.
Another point of contention in the split is the exes’ $4.5 million farmhouse in Tennessee.
While Josh alleged he came to a temporary agreement with the HGTV star allowing him to live in the home when it’s not rented out, he claimed she put the house for sale despite his objections, per court docs obtained by People. According to the outlet, Christina said she “gave proper and timely notice” before putting the property on the market.

Sparks flew while Christina and Josh started spending time together. The couple recreated their March 2021 date a year later.
While on vacation for Christina's birthday, the two posed for a photo on the beach and made their relationship Instagram official.
Months in, Christina had a message for any haters, noting she'll "turn off comments with Josh and will continue to do so if people are rude." As she later put it, "Do what you love with the ones you love. For me, that's Josh, my kids and a few close friends and co-workers."
Engaged! One day after celebrating Josh's birthday, Christina confirmed the duo's romance was anything but a flop.
The pair celebrated the spooktacular season with a visit to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.
Just a few months later, they marked their first Christmas together.
"Building life together and enjoying some alone time," she captioned this sweet pic. "Love you Josh."
The following month, Christina enjoyed the "Best Valentine's weekend with my Valentine."
"Prayed for a man who was all man but still treated me like his queen," Christina wrote on Instagram just a few days before news of her and Josh's marriage broke. "Never give up."
In April 2022, fans learned that Christina and Josh privately tied the knot. They then celebrated their union with a wedding in Hawaii that September.
"Shared vows in front of family and our close friends," Christina wrote on Instagram Sept. 4. "Everything in life has led me to where I am right now, which is exactly where I want to be. My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love."
It would later be revealed that the two actually wed in October 2021.
The real estate agent celebrated the HGTV star's birthday with a sweet tribute.
"Happy 40th Birthday to my absolute stunner of a wife!" he wrote on Instagram. "This woman has accomplished so much, inspired so many and continues to impress me daily. I can’t say enough about what an absolute force she is and what she is capable of. Christina is about to make her 40’s the best decade of her life and looking better than ever while doing it!I’m a lucky man and thank my lucky stars that she chose me to take this ride with her that is now our life. Ride or die baby, love you more than anything."
Christina and Josh stepped out for a beach day with her French bulldog Cash and his dog Stella.
"Still going strong…" Josh wrote on Instagram alongside photos over the pair from over the past three years. "03/2024 ← 03/2023 ← 03/202← 03/2021."
In July 2024, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and her listing the same in her own court documents.
