Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard Unveils Massive New Back Tattoo

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has taken another major step in her post-lockup transformation.
Indeed, the 32-year-old just revealed some new ink including a Buddhist and Hindu symbol for “unalone” on her wrist and a massive artistic take on a phoenix rising from the ashes on her back.
“Tattoo meanings,” Gypsy wrote in a July 25 Instagram video, soundtracked to “Tattoo” by Jordin Sparks. “Thank you to @sailorbobstattoo @1936greaser @electricsting for the amazing artistry. DISCLOSURE All tattoos were done BEFORE pregnancy.”
The new ink perfectly marks Gypsy’s chapter of independence, but she also proved her connection with ex-fiancé Ken Urker—with whom she reunited with in April—in another matching husky tattoo.
Earlier this year, her cousin Bobby Pitre—the owner of the shop where Gypsy got her tattoos done—explained the meaning behind the duo’s matching ink, telling People they’re a “symbol for their strong bond.”
And the tattoos are just the latest milestone Gypsy—who filed for divorce from ex Ryan Anderson in April—has marked since her release from prison in December. In fact, the Life After Lockup star is on her way to becoming a mom.
“Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025,” Gypsy shared in a YouTube video earlier this month, later noting they’ll welcome a baby boy. “We're both very excited. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected.”
But while her pregnancy was unexpected—and announced just months after she filed for divorce from Ryan—Gypsy quickly clapped back at any speculation regarding the paternity.
“This is absolutely 100 percent Ken's baby,” Gypsy said during an appearance on Good Morning America earlier this month. “It was mid-March when I left Ryan. There was never any question of paternity.”
Gypsy has also had to ward off any detractors who wonder if she’s ready to be a mom less than a year after completing her time for conspiring in the murder of her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. But the Louisiana native had the perfect response for those criticisms, too.
“I just don't know if anyone is really ready to become a mother,” she posited in her pregnancy reveal video. “All that matters is making sure that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and my relationship with Ken is healthy.”

In late March 2024, three months after her prison release, Gypsy shared that she and Ryan broke up.
"People have been asking what is going on in my life," she wrote in a statement on her private Facebook page, according to People. "Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou."
Gypsy underwent a rhinopasty and septoplasty (nose job) April 5, 2024. Her physical transformation will be documented on Lifetime's Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.
Gypsy filed for divorce from Ryan on April 8, 2024, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The filing came nearly two years after their July 2022 prison wedding.
In late April 2024, weeks after filing for divorce, Gypsy announced she got back together with ex-fiancé Ken Urker. The following month, she made their rekindled romance social media official by sharing a video montage of their romantic moments on TikTok.
In her video, Gypsy described her love story with Ken as "legendary."
And when a fan, using her own past comments about ex Ryan, took the oppotunity to ask her in the comments a NSFW question about Ken, Gypsy responded quickly and candidly.
