Ana de Armas Shares Insight Into Her Private World Away From Hollywood

Ana de Armas has found her own Eden.
The Blonde star reflected on her decision to leave the shining lights of Hollywood behind for the shining stars above her rural Vermont home.
“I feel like nowadays, we all want to go away from the craziness of the world,” Ana told E! News’ Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview at Eden’s Canadian premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival Sept. 7. “We all want to have the chance to build your own safe space. I’ve made that decision myself.”
“I found a home where I really feel off the grid,” she continued, donning a custom blush pink Louis Vuitton look at the event. “I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I have my little cocoon there.”
According to multiple reports, the 36-year-old now lives in a $7 million home with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms that feature sprawling views of mountains, forests and open meadows.
As for what inspired Ana to move to the northeast? It was partly due to the overwhelming media frenzy surrounding her and Ben Affleck while they dated in 2020. And just like she learned when to step away from Los Angeles, she used the same thinking when it came to moving away from past relationships.
“You just feel it when it’s time to change,” the Eden actress explained. “Look out for yourself. There’s a time when you learn what’s good for you and what’s not. What serves you the most? Pay attention to that and take action.”
And it seems she did take action because after dating the Justice League star for 10 months, an insider close to the situation told E! News that the pair were just in "different places" in life.
Nearly a year later, Ana debuted her relationship with Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis. Not long after, the pair moved to New York.
But she’ll always have a special place in her heart for L.A. After all, it was the city that helped her bring Marilyn Monroe to life in the 2023 biopic, in which she was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Oscars.
"Everywhere we went, all the locations, everywhere you go, she's there,” Ana told E! last March. “Everyone has a story about her. So we definitely all felt her presence in the sense of that spiritual energy, and I think that definitely helped with the commitment and that willingness of everyone doing right by her and loving the process of making this movie even more."
