Super Bowl Champion Travis Kelce is officially in Louisville for the 150th Kentucky Derby — but there's no word yet on whether global superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift will join him.
Former NBA player Chandler Parsons hinted at Kelce's appearance during a Friday interview on the Up & Adams Show. And around 1 a.m. Saturday, Kelce was spotted at Sports Illustrated's Revel at the Races party, minus Swift.
As of about 1:20 p.m. Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen arriving at Churchill Downs, wearing a lightly-striped white suit, navy floral tie and coordinating navy hat, complete with a feather. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, a photo shows Kelce amid a sea of attendees.
There has been speculation for months over whether the "Shake It Off" singer and her boyfriend would saddle up and attend the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports."
It's no secret this A-list super couple doesn't shy away from having a good time so why not a trip to Churchill Downs for the annual "Run for the Roses?"
When it comes to having a good time, Kelce and Swift are all in. Since her Eras Tour went on hiatus and the NFL is in the off-season, the couple are taking a much-deserved break from their work and have enjoyed a vacation to the Bahamas, time spent in Swift's Los Angeles mansion, and a pop-in at Coachella.
Most recently, the power couple was spotted in a Las Vegas nightclub with Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, during a weekend golf fundraiser for Mahomes' foundation. A gift of four tickets to Swift's massively profitable Eras Tour raised $80,000 for 15 and the Mahomes Foundation, which supports improving the lives of children.
In 2023, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were guests of Patricia Barnstable Brown at her illustrious Kentucky Derby Eve Gala. The following afternoon on Saturday, Mahomes announced "Riders Up" on the NBC Sports broadcast moments before the start of the 149th Kentucky Derby. It's possible the Mahomes passed along how much fun he had on Kentucky Derby weekend in Louisville and inspired his friends to book a trip.
It's worth noting that the 2024 Met Gala is scheduled for Monday, May 6, and Swift has her next international Eras Tour performance in Paris on May 9.
So, will we see the power couple together? Who's to say. Happy Derby!
