Leading a horse to water is one thing ... getting it out of the water is another. That's what a rescue crew recently discovered on a hot summer day near Oklahoma City.
After getting a unique call, police officers came to the rescue of a horse that fell into a swimming pool. Police were called to a property in Springlake after discovering the horse standing in the pool’s corner.

Using a rope fashioned into a bridle, officers successfully pulled the horse to safety as captured in bodycam footage. Thankfully, the horse was unharmed. An Oklahoma City Police spokesman humorously remarked, “You know it’s a hot day in Oklahoma when the pony gets in the pool.”
